Friday – Facebook Family & Friends

The thoughts expressed here do not necessarily represent those of the owner of this blog, but then again, they might.

I think it may be time to scrap my Facebook page.  Two weeks in a row, no news, but lots of junk.

This week on Facebook, my family and friends entertained me with:

Till tomorrow, when I will maybe, just maybe, actually write something.

I like some of these. I’m finding Facebook is a good place to advertise my writing and get in touch with people quickly (sending messages) otherwise, I no longer spend much time there.

  2. I like ’em… all of ’em.

  3. Such a simple post, i love it, the dogs in the queue and G.W.Bush .
    Facebook is crap 😆

  4. i like your family and friends. continue…

  5. Facebook is a lot like everything else, You have to dig through a lot of junk to find a few precious jewels. But as I said in my own blog, http://marymothermayhem.wordpress.com/2011/09/17/facebook-cost-me-my-job-and-saved-my-life/, Facebook has been more than entertainment for me — it has saved my life.

    • Sorry about the loss of employment, but glad you are in a better place. I remembered reading your post, and thought I had commented, but see that I hadn’t. Between my new full-time job and trying to write, I just don’t have time to comb through all the crap to get the good stuff. Thank goodness my friends and family can keep be laughing, though. When I first moved away from my home of 30+ years and my family, Facebook was my lifeline.

  6. I like the first one with W. That’s priceless! The one about alcohol is pretty clever, too. Great excuse for no longer ordering salads when I go out to eat. 😉

  7. Hey, I’d keep my Facebook account if that kind of stuff was on there–those were great! I love the pic with the dogs waiting in line at the tree. Priceless!
